Jenna's Fancy Birthday

One thing you should know about Jenna is that she is complete girl. If it sparkles, dances or looks fancy, it is for her. One of her favorite books is Fancy Nancy. It is about a girl who chooses everything fancy over plain and tries to teach her family how to be fancy. We decided to have a fancy themed birthday party for Jenna's sixth birthday.

All of her guests came dressed in fancy clothes.

I wish I would've gotten a picture of our family, but we were all dressed fancy, too. David found a paisley cumberbund and bowtie at the thrift store for $2 and I was wearing Jenna's feather boa and headband. Paige and Jack were fancy, too.

We started out by making tiaras out of sparkly pipecleaners. Jenna appears to be getting crowned in this picture and loving it.

For a fancy cake, I made marshamallow fondant for the first time. I thought it turned out great! It actually tasted pretty good, too.

Happy Birthday, Jenny! We love you!
