Easter
I love springtime in the Valley. And I hope you know that I'm kidding. We were punished for having a mild winter by getting a snowstorm on Easter.

Somehow we managed to not get any pictures of the kids dressed up for church, but we got some of the important stuff, aka the candy.

I Ran
I suppose I should use that term loosely since I did a lot more walking than I did running. Yesterday, I laced up my dusty running shoes and ran my old standby course. I started out going west down Sherman, turned east at Marvin's and went up the highway to the Coop road. Then I turned north and headed back to Sherman and then home for a total of 2.25 miles. It. Felt. So. Good. It was the fix that I have been craving for a long time. David had to go to Arizona today for work, so I won't be able to run outside again this week since he won't get home until Saturday. And don't get me started on that. I still have the pregnancy/post-partum emotional thing going on and can cry at the drop of a hat and do not appreciate that he was sent away from me while I have a newborn and three other kids to care for. Anyhoo, for tomorrow, I have a date with the dreadmill.

Six Days Old

London had her very first check up today. The nurses at the hospital made the appointment and handed me the reminder card. I knew it was today, but I couldn't remember what time it was at. It was about 8:15 when I checked the card and the appointment was at 8:30! Who gives a newborn an appointment that early in the morning?! Luckily, I had already been up and showered but London was still asleep and was due to eat anytime. She was not happy about not getting to eat right away! She is still so tiny and only weighs 6 lbs, 6 oz.
