Ft. Worth Zoo

Are you ready for a picture overload?   Can you think of a better place for pictures than the zoo?  Two of our four kids had never been and they loved it.  Karen and her boys and Emma and her twins went with us.  The pictures are small, but if you click on them, you can see them better.

Here is Brody and Brooklyn on their first trip to the zoo.  They are having a great time!

David’s wingspan is the size of turkey vulture.  I can’t remember what Jenna’s was.

Texas Bluebonnets

It’s tradition!  In the springtime in Texas, bluebonnets grow all over the place and you see people taking pictures in them all the time.  Marsha found a great place0 that wasn’t even along a highway. 

I am still learning how to use my camera and the sun wasn’t the best.  I have a polarizer filter but didn’t have it on.  That would’ve helped, right? 

Trying to take a picture of four kids and get them to all look the same direction at the same time is crazy.  I finally chose this one because you see Jenna’s personality so well.  She was literally modeling for the camera and you can see it here.  She’s funny.

Vacation + New camera = Yay!

Our vacations are almost always trips to Irving, Tx where David’s parents live.  That’s okay with me because it is important for the kids to see their grandparents, plus there is a lot to do there.  Also, they have Craigslist.  Remember my post about not getting a camera yet?  I finally convinced David that it was a closer to a need instead of a want and I found one there.  We picked it up on out way into town and I had so much fun playing with it and trying to figure out what the heck I was doing. 

My kids are pretty cute subject matter, I wasn’t lacking on what to shoot.  Here are some of my favorites.
